My approach
I believe that all employees should have a voice in order to create the best possible working environment. That doesn’t mean every idea or suggestion is implemented, but it does mean you are giving everyone an opportunity to be heard.
My approach is to start by getting to know the business to learn what you do and how you do it. It allows me to understand what you are trying to achieve and any areas you feel might need attention.
I’ll then recommend asking the staff how they feel.

Who am I
Hi, I’m Emma Hogan, the founder of About Your Tribe.
After successful careers in event management, client services and human resources, I’m very much a ‘people person’ and I’m extremely passionate about what someone can achieve when given the right circumstances in which to thrive. I started the business to help companies and leaders give their employees an experience not just an employment contract and create environments that help people perform at their best.
I spent 13 years with a successful marketing agency in the South West and I’m no stranger to change. I’ve experienced the ups and downs of staff retention and offer a nurturing and supportive approach supported by a strong commercial understanding and the needs of rapidly changing businesses.
I believe strongly in employee voice and open and honest communication where people feel valued and enjoy coming to work.
